Our Parish

The attractive rural civil parish of North Newnton is set almost in the middle of the beautiful Vale of Pewsey in north east Wiltshire.

Situated between the larger centres of Swindon to the north (21 miles) and Salisbury to the south (20 miles), the parish is also almost equidistant from the market towns of Devizes (11 miles) to the west and Marlborough (10 miles) to the north east, and 4 miles from the large village of Pewsey to the east.

The parish is comprised of three hamlets, North Newnton, Bottlesford and Hilcott.

Just outside the parish boundary a General Stores with Post Office and a significant Garden Centre are located in the adjacent villages of Upavon and Woodborough respectively.
